The Day in the Life of Planning a 21st Birthday Party in Dubai for My Son!

The Panic Sets In

It started with a casual remark from my son, “Dad, my 21st is coming up soon.”

No big deal, right? Wrong.

The next thing I knew, he had a whole Pinterest board of extravagant party ideas—yacht parties, limousines, DJs, themed decorations, the works.

My initial thought? How hard can it be? 

My second thought, after five minutes of scrolling through Google searches ... I am doomed.

Planning a 21st birthday party in Dubai in today’s world is nothing like it was back in my day (cue old man grumbling).

Googling “21st birthday party planning help” led me down a rabbit hole of services, each more confusing than the last.
