An unforgettable experience at Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa. Everything from the peaceful luxury of the resort to the service and food was outstanding. The desert safari was one of the best in the UAE, and the camel ride at sunset was truly a highlight of our stay. Riding through the desert with those beautiful sunset views made the whole experience feel very special and memorable. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the overall atmosphere was calm, elegant, and unique. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and made us feel comfortable throughout. A truly amazing desert getaway. I would highly recommend Al Maha to anyone looking for a luxury desert experience in Dubai.

I have been coming to Al Maha for almost 10 years, and it has remained one of my absolute favorite desert escapes. Every single visit reminds me why I keep returning. The service is consistently exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely personalized. From the moment you arrive, you feel completely taken care of. What makes Al Maha truly special is its breathtaking setting. Surrounded by endless dunes and free-roaming Arabian oryx and gazelles, you feel completely connected with nature. Watching these beautiful animals wander peacefully around the resort creates such a unique and unforgettable atmosphere. There are so many wonderful experiences to enjoy, from desert drives and camel rides at sunset to archery and other outdoor activities. One of my favorite moments is having dinner while overlooking the desert as the sun sets—it’s simply magical. The private pool villas are beautifully designed in a traditional Arabian style, combining luxury with authenticity. Even breakfast is a memorable experience, especially when it’s served floating in your private pool. The food is consistently outstanding, and the service is always a perfect 10 out of 10. Living in Dubai, I sometimes need to escape the city and recharge in a completely different environment. Al Maha is the perfect place to clear my mind, slow down, and reconnect with nature. It offers a sense of peace and tranquility that is hard to find anywhere else. For me, Al Maha will always be one of the most special resorts in the UAE, and I can’t wait to return again.

My son was initially nervous about his first visit to the region, but checked out completely in love with the place. Highly recommended without reservation.

Just got back from another incredible stay at Al Maha, and honestly, it never disappoints. The room was exactly what I have come to expect: pure luxury, total privacy, and that magical feeling of being tucked away in the middle of the desert. But what truly sets Al Maha apart, time and time again, is the team. The staff are the real USP here. Their attention to detail is unmatched, and what I appreciate most is how personal it all feels. They remember you. From the concierge to the front office, the spa team to the activities centre, everyone goes out of their way to make you feel genuinely looked after, not just as a guest, but as someone they are pleased to welcome back. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. What impressed us most was how he went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. When we were seated outside and the weather was quite warm, he even found a rubber band for me to tie my hair, a thoughtful gesture that truly demonstrated his dedication to guest satisfaction. I would also like to commend the General Manager, who always made time to personally greet and interact with guests during breakfast. His presence and genuine care reflect the outstanding culture of hospitality throughout the resort. The housekeeping team deserves special recognition—the villa was impeccably maintained throughout our stay. The culinary offerings were outstanding, with each meal prepared with care and creativity. My husband and I went for a 3 night stay at Al Maha and could not be more satisfied with the hotel, the customer service, and the overall experience. The room was very nice with a lovely view and quite large pool. However, the best part were the animals. the gazelle and oryx roam free around the resort and we saw many come right up to the pool. Astonishing. The restaurant, however, is the true gem of this hotel. With its new head chef and newly revamped menu, the food is wonderful. We were there on a full board stay, and we could not have eaten more amazing food if we tried. If you are a vegetarian, I highly recommend the cauliflower steak. Many places have this dish, but none taste like this. During our stay we decided to get room service, and after a series of mishaps (waiting too long and getting sub par food at that), I went and spoke with the hotel manager AND the food and beverage manager. Some hotels apologize when things go wrong, but this resort and its staff went above and beyond. They explained the situation yes (new menu in the restaurant but that room service had not been revamped yet), but went out of their way to rectify it all by giving us a very good lunch in our room with no surcharge and a free bottle of sparkling wine as well. I cannot say enough about the customer service at this resort. They understand how to treat their guests well, and I will be forever grateful. It was a wonderful stay and I would recommend this resort to anyone.

Al Maha is a magical place—beautiful and endlessly fascinating! The service there is outstanding; everyone is so friendly and helpful, and they go above and beyond to ensure you feel completely at ease! We have never experienced anything like this anywhere else in the world! From the incredibly warm welcome, to the many "extras" and the fact that we were given our preferred villa, right through to the fantastic food—everything was perfect! The gazelles, the oryx antelopes, the many different birds, and so much more—it is truly enchanting. The activities are all wonderful as well; we especially loved the sunset camel ride! Our stay at Al Maha was truly magical and exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, everything felt perfectly curated for comfort, privacy, and a unique desert experience. The staff were exceptionally professional, attentive, and seemed to anticipate our needs before we even expressed them. This level of service made the entire stay feel effortless and deeply relaxing. The activities were a highlight of the trip. I would especially recommend the camel trekking experience - it’s a peaceful and authentic way to explore the desert landscape. The falcon show was equally impressive, offering a fascinating glimpse into local heritage and traditions. Overall, it was an unforgettable escape, and we are already looking forward to come back ❤️

We did not stay at the hotel, we only ENJOY the full spa day with a 3 courses lunch and the infinity pool. The service was nice and so polite, food/restaurant for lunch was amazing and so tasteful. The pool has a crazy desert view with wildlife coming to us. Spa was really nice and so well equipped. We asked to visit one of the villas and they nicely accept. I dreamed of having a stay there now. Do not hesitate to go end enjoy their Spa-cation. Other details: they transport you through the resort via buggy, gym is well equipped, sunscreen at disposal, small boutique of souvenir, the 20min dust road to arrive to the resort is fun.
